Randstad Group Netherlands celebrated Diversity Day 2020 with its own Diversity Day Radio broadcast live from its headquarters. For four hours during this special radio show, they had the conversation about diversity. Real stories and experiences were interspersed with music and contributions from listeners. The show had a serious character, but was also accessible and interactive.
Various guests, from Dutch celebrities to colleagues, joined in the conversation about the importance of diversity, using the ‘Being yourself works’ card game. They shared their own experiences and discussed the things that everyone can run into in their daily work. For example, what do you do when someone asks you an inappropriate question, but with genuine interest? How do we ensure that everyone can be themselves in the workplace? How do we embrace diversity and how does it contribute to our success on a daily basis?
