The Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW) organized a D&I art exhibition in the run-up to Diversity Day. The ministries of SZW and VWS joined a D&I art initiative of the ministry of OCW. From this initiative five to six employees from each department were asked to tell a personal story about diversity and inclusion by means of an art object. This could be a work of art in the broadest sense of the word. For example, a painting, a sculpture or a piece of music. The exhibition remained standing for a month.

On Diversity Day itself, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment organized a lunch lecture for employees and invited Jitske Kramer. Jitske is a corporate anthropologist and is known for her knowledge and expertise in the field of organizations and culture. During the lunch lecture she discussed inclusion in teams. Awareness is important, but how does diversity come into its own?
